We all know that HR testing, especially payroll testing, has to be near perfect. Rule 1 of business: always pay your employees accurately and on time. As such Testing is a key activity of any HR and Payroll project – SAP or not. It is however, almost impossible to get right:

  • It’s very dependent on having an army of manual testers, typically these are people sourced from within your business. Almost certainly you won’t be carrying spare capacity to do this.

  • Not only do you need lots of people, you also need your best people to help with testing. You need the people that really know your current business. These people tend to be busy people.

  • Of course, all of this becomes more complex when you consider the very data you’re testing may need to be obfuscated to comply with data protection obligations.
